WANTED - Looking for FREE / reclaimed timber & plywood

Item Description

We are looking for leftover/reclaimed building materials that anyone may be happy to donate rather than throw away.

We're particularly looking for strong structural timber, ideally around 2 metres long, to build two performer-bearing platforms, plus approx. 18 mm plywood sheets for the top surfaces. we'd also be very grateful for shorter timber offcuts/blocks that could be used for supports and bracing.
Metal is good as well.
The platforms will be approximately 2 m × 1.7 m each, with a very gentle rise of about 20 cm, so the materials need to be strong enough for a performer to walk, move and lie on safely.
Happy to collect in London. Even if you only have a few suitable pieces left over from a building project, theatre set, renovation, etc., please message
